Kia Niro
The Niro returns for the 2023 model year with a refreshed and bolder look, offering hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and pure electric options. The hybrid model has a 1.6L 4-cylinder engine paired with a hybrid system and a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission, while the plug-in hybrid has extended electric driving capability. The Niro EV, which has 201 horsepower and 188 pound-feet of torque, is available in three trim levels and shares the same powertrain as the Kia Soul EV Limited. The hybrid model comes in four trim levels, whereas the plug-in hybrid is only available in EX.
Kia Seltos
The practical and versatile 2023 Kia Seltos returns in its current design for its final year, ideal for city driving and weekend getaways. The model for next year will be significantly redesigned, with a new look and Kia’s dual-screen dashboard. The 2023 Seltos comes in six trim levels, including the SX Turbo, which features a turbocharged 4-cylinder engine (175 hp, 195 lb-ft torque) and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. A 2.0L naturally aspirated 4-cylinder engine is another option. (146-hp, 132 lb-ft of torque).
Kia Sportage
The Kia Sportage is completely redesigned in 2023 and has a distinct appearance that sets it apart from its competitors. It is now available with a long wheelbase and three engine options: regular, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid. The combustion model has six trim levels, while the hybrid and PHEV each have two. The Sportage has a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine that produces 187 hp and 178 lb-ft of torque, while the hybrid and PHEV have even more power.
Kia Sorento
The Kia Sorento is the crossover now available in three configurations: gas-only, hybrid, or plug-in hybrid, with six trim levels including LX+, LX Premium, X-Line EX, EX+, and SX. The hybrid comes in LX and EX trims, while the PHEV comes in EX, EX+, and SX trims. The Sorento comes with two internal combustion engine options: a 2.5L naturally aspirated 4-cylinder and a 2.5L turbo engine, each paired with a different transmission. The hybrid models, like the Sportage, have a 1.6L turbocharged engine.
Kia Telluride
The 2023 Kia Telluride gets a minor design update while keeping the same successful formula. It has an X-Line trim as well as the new X-Line Pro for more adventurous customers. The SUV retains its 3.8L V6 engine, which produces 291 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque and is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive as standard.
Kia Carnival
The former Sedona, the Kia Carnival returns unchanged from the 2022 model year. The powertrain is the same, as well as the trim levels (LX, LX+, EX, EX+, and SX). However, there may be an electric or hybrid Kia Carnival in the future.
